"CALL ME BIJOUX" An In-Progress Live Performance Work

"Call Me Bijoux" Streamed on YouTube Dec 8 - 10, 2023

This loosely autobiographical solo piece explores “Bijoux’s” coming-of-age journey in the world of nightlife. Thrust onstage at eighteen she discovered herself through the art of striptease - learning to simultaneously conceal and reveal what she wanted audiences to see.

A 'work-in-progress' or 'proof-of-concept' streaming version (screened online Dec 8 - 10, 2023) offered viewers a taste of the live show, currently being proposed for 2024 staging in various Canadian cities. Subscribe below to receive updates about future performances.
